Cadna SAK Software

Calculation and Assessment of Interior Noise

Cadna SAK logo

Overview

CadnaSAK

The software program CadnaSAK is a powerful tool to calculate noise in industrial halls. It calculates the sound levels at workstations based on emission data of the machinery according to the EU-Machinery Directive considering the room geometry and design characteristics. The noise distribution is calculated and presented as noise maps. The characteristic noise levels of defined workstations can be printed in tables.

The sound propagation in industrial halls is calculated according to the VDI-guideline 3760 (VDI: Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.) as well as according the statistic reverberation theory. CadnaSAK treates screening objects by the fitting density of machinery. The local distribution of absorption can be entered. However, in calculations according to VDI 3760 the absorption is averaged across the respective room surface. Thus, effects caused by local absorbers cannot be studied.
