Duo Smart Noise Monitor Technical Features

fonctionnalite_1.png

Built-in 3G modem

DUO's 3G connection allows for remote access to the measurements in progress and for download of stored data with no physical presence of the user required on the site.

Access to stored data
DUO allows for direct connection in order to select the data to download remotely.

All-weather design
Based on its all-weather design, DUO is intended for both outdoor and indoor noise monitoring. Collaboration with our partner G.R.A.S. has allowed developing an all-weather microphone.

Operating lifetime and memory

Its operating life allows for several days of measurements without any external power supply: more than 60 hours of operating with continuous acquisition of time and spectral history, 20% audio recording, remote querry using WiFi or 3G sporadically. Periodic automatic self-check that allows controlling the operating of the entire instrument and adequate memory capacity give a new dimension to your measurement campaigns.

Built-in GPS
Stored measurements data are synchronised and geo-referenced.

Automated checks
DUO integrates a unique stand-alone periodic self-check system for the entire measurement chain that allows comforting the user on the relevance of the measurements achieved remotely.

Processing of complaints
DUO is compliant with the requirements for class1 sound level meters according to standard IEC 61672. The type certification by the French National Testing Laboratory is pending.
Thus, the user has full control over the measurement uncertainties for undisputable test reports.

Optimised emergence analysis
DUO allows for optimised analysis of emergence by simultaneous use of several DUO as a measurement points and one or several DUO as trigger (coding) points based on perfect GPS time synchronisation.

No software option
Our main concern is to make our products easy to use; thus, for DUO, the user will not have to worry about activating or not such or such option or not.
Everything is included: unlimited storage within the capacity of the memory card, frequency analysis, audio recording, 3G modem, WiFi connection, GPS, dBDUO remote interface.
