A strong reputation of quality
dBSonic inherits the long experience of two
major companies in the field
of sound and vibration: 01dB-Metravib & CORTEX Instruments,
leader in
psychoacoustics.
 | Calculations and algorithms internationally recognized
as robust and representative of human perception
|
 | Advanced mathematical models for further analysis:
wavelet, ASP, order analysis, IIR filters, equalization, ... |
A fast and powerful software
 | Hundreds of files analyzed in a few clicks thanks to
dBSonic batch mode
|
 | Synthetic tables of results available for comparative
analyses
|
 | Quick automatic report for a fast reporting to project
managers |
Auditory related analysis & sound
design
 | The missing link between analysis and perception!
......between what you see and what you hear!
|
 | Fine and resolving graphical display enabling to pick
up, modify tricky components in the « auditory image »
|
 | Direct virtual sound prototyping related to sound
quality targeting |
Multi-platform data acquisition up
to 32 channels
 | NetdB-DAQ12/32, Orchestra, Harmonie, Symphonie, Sound
cards |
With dBSonic, annoying
sound components are easily analyzed, identified, documented and
removed by creating targets sounds with its most innovative
sound design tools PerceptualXplorer and FilterXplorer.
Four packages (including different
modules of dBSonic) have been derived in
order to fit to the need of your application:
 | The basic psychoacoustic package. This package is ideal
for entering psychoacoustics at a low price on the base of
relevant, robust and established psychoacoustic models. It
includes the basic (BA), psychoacoustic (PSY) and
documentation (DOC) modules.
|
 | The automative dedicated package. This package is the
basic entry for the analysis of sound signals versus
RPM/engine orders and on-line/offline filtering capabilites.
It includes the basic (BA), the sound editor (ED) and RPM
modules.
|
 | The advanced automative package. This package allows to
perform some advanced standard and psychoacoustic analysis
for engine application. It includes the basic (BA), the
psychoacoustic (PSY), the (RPM), and the documentation (DOC)
modules.
|
 | The filtering package. This package is dedicated to
people interested in getting all the main psychoacoustic
functions of the software and the battery of all filtering
capabilities of the software. These are filter design (set
up of filter bank including frequency and order filters),
real time and off line filtering capabilites. This package
includes the basic (BA), psychoacoustic (PSY), documentation
(DOC) and filter editor (ED) modules. |
